Testing and Progress
To kickstart this initiative, Warp equipped its test warehouse in Los Angeles with cameras and utilized computer vision to create a virtual simulation. By experimenting with different approaches, Warp identified successful strategies for incorporating robots into its warehouse operations. This included training off-the-shelf robots with additional technology for improved performance.
Future Plans and Expansion
Warp secured a $10 million Series A funding round to support its robotic automation project. The company plans to deploy robots in key locations within its network, starting with Los Angeles, Chicago, New Jersey, Dallas, and Miami.
