So, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is really trying to give Siri a major upgrade. But don’t get too excited just yet – it seems like we’ll have to wait until 2027 and iOS 20 for the full, fancy version to come out.

But hey, there’s good news too! A new Siri version is set to debut in May, finally bringing all those cool Apple Intelligence features we’ve been promised. This new Siri is said to have “two brains” – one for the basics like setting timers and making calls, and another for more advanced stuff based on user data. The merging of these two brains, internally known as “LLM Siri,” is expected to be announced in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference and launch in spring 2026.
