After over three and a half years since acquiring Tile for $205 million, family locator app Life360 has fully integrated the item-finding capabilities of Tile into its main app. Users can now track their family members and valuables, with Tile users being pushed to adopt the Life360 app. The integrated services are rolling out gradually, with Tile users directed to Life360 and new tracking capabilities for Life360 users. Automatic push notifications for lost items and access to location history are also included. No indication has been given on the future of the standalone Tile app. Life360 aims to become the largest finding network by integrating Tile into its flagship product, which currently has 83.7 million global monthly active users.
