Google has announced its own version of “MagSafe” called PixelSnap, allowing magnetic accessories to work with the newly launched Pixel 10 series of devices. This move comes nearly five years after Apple introduced magnetic accessories with the iPhone 12 in 2020. Through PixelSnap, users can attach wireless chargers, stands, grips, and more to the Pixel 10, with the company also releasing its own PixelSnap cases and compatible accessories.
The simplest accessory in the lineup is the Ring Stand, which attaches to the phone like a puck and can be pulled out to use as a stand. All new Pixel devices are compatible with the Qi2 wireless standard, with the Pixel 10 Pro XL supporting 25W wireless charging and the other devices (Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Fold) supporting 15W wireless charging.
Google is introducing a new PixelSnap charger with an optional stand for convenient charging and use. The PixelSnap cases start at $49.99, the Ring Stand is priced at $29.99, the charger costs $39.99, and the charger with stand combo is priced at $69.99. The Pixel 10 series phones are also compatible with various accessories like car mounts, chargers, and MagSafe accessories from Made for Google partners.
