Google is launching a global expansion of AI Mode, a feature that allows users to ask complex questions and follow-ups within Search. The tech giant is bringing new agentic and personalized capabilities to the feature.
**Global Expansion and New Features**
As part of the expansion, Google is introducing AI Mode to 180 new countries in English, expanding beyond the U.S., U.K., and India. The company plans to add support for more languages and regions in the future.
**Agentic Capabilities**
Users can now use AI Mode to find restaurant reservations and will soon be able to book local service appointments and event tickets. The feature allows users to request dinner reservations based on preferences like party size, date, time, location, and cuisine. AI Mode searches across different platforms to find real-time availability and presents curated options.
**Personalized Search Results**
U.S. users in the AI Mode experiment will receive search results tailored to their preferences and interests, starting with dining-related topics. The feature considers past conversations, places searched for or clicked on in Search and Maps to offer relevant suggestions. Users can adjust their personalization settings in their Google Account.
**Collaboration and Sharing**
AI Mode now enables users to share responses with others, facilitating collaboration in scenarios like trip planning or organizing events.
Google is constantly evolving AI Mode to enhance user experience and personalization.
