Harmonic, an AI startup co-founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has just launched a beta version of its iOS and Android chatbot app that gives users access to its AI model, Aristotle.
Harmonic claims that Aristotle provides “hallucination-free” answers for math-related questions, aiming to create “mathematical superintelligence” (MSI) that can assist with various fields like physics, statistics, and computer science.
Guaranteed Accuracy
Harmonic CEO Tudor Achim stated in an interview with TechCrunch that Aristotle is the first product that delivers reasoning and formally verifies its output, specifically in quantitative reasoning domains. The company plans to develop an API for enterprises to access Aristotle and a web app for consumers.
AI Performance and Funding
Harmonic revealed that Aristotle achieved gold medal performance on the 2025 International Math Olympiad through a formal test, distinguishing itself from AI models developed by Google and OpenAI, which performed well in informal tests based on natural language.
Following a Series B funding round that raised $100 million with Kleiner Perkins leading, Harmonic is advancing quickly towards its MSI goals. Investors have shown confidence in the startup’s vision and potential.
