Last year was huge for the AI industry in the US and beyond. A total of 49 startups secured funding rounds of $100 million or more in 2024, according to our friends at TechCrunch. Three companies even landed more than one “mega-round,” while seven others scored rounds of $1 billion or more.
The burning question now is, how does 2025 stack up to last year’s success? Well, with only a few weeks left in the third quarter, it seems like the momentum from 2024 is still going strong. Several billion-dollar rounds have already been inked this year, and a handful of companies have even snagged more than one mega-round.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the US AI startups that have hit the $100 million jackpot this year:

– **EliseAI:** This healthcare and housing automation platform raised a whopping $250 million in a Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz on August 20.
– **Decart:** An AI research lab, bagged $100 million at a $3.1 billion valuation on August 7.
## July
– **Fal:** Generative media platform Fal snagged a $125 million Series C round led by Meritech Capital Partners on July 31.
– **Ambience Healthcare:** This five-year-old company building an AI healthcare operating system raised a $243 million Series C round led by Oak HC/FT and Andreessen Horowitz.
– **Reka AI:** An AI research lab, secured $110 million in a round involving Snowflake and Nvidia on July 22.
