A few months ago, Google’s NotebookLM note-taking app introduced a feature that creates a podcast with AI virtual hosts based on the information shared with the app. With this new feature, users can now interact with the AI podcast hosts to gain a deeper understanding of the content they have uploaded. The experience is described as having a personal tutor who responds based on the provided sources. This experimental feature works with new Audio Overviews and allows users to ask questions and receive responses from the AI hosts. Google also mentions that hosts may occasionally respond inaccurately due to the test nature of the feature. The app is also undergoing a redesign, with the introduction of a premium version for enterprises called “NotebookLM Plus.”
