Google made a splash at its Made by Google event by introducing the Pixel 10 lineup, featuring the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The highlight of this release is the new Tensor G5 processor powering all the phones. However, the most significant hardware change comes with the base model Pixel 10, which now boasts a triple-camera setup for the first time.

### Enhanced Camera Capabilities

While the Pixel 9 had wide and ultra-wide sensors, the Pixel 10 steps up its game with a new telephoto lens that enables 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom through Super Res Zoom. The base model features a 48-megapixel wide sensor, Quad phase detection for faster focus in low light, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

### Upgraded Pro Models

On the other hand, the Pro models receive incremental updates in terms of processor and camera sensors. They now sport a 50-megapixel wide sensor with optical stabilization and Super Res Zoom for video, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and an impressive 100x Super Res digital zoom.

### Cutting-Edge Display Technology

All Pixel phones retain their screen sizes, with the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro featuring a 6.3-inch display, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL boasting a 6.8-inch display. Google introduces the new “Actua” display, allowing for up to 3,300 nits of brightness on the Pro models and 3,000 nits on the Pixel 10.

### AI-Powered Features

Powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip and Titan M2 security chip, the Pixel series offers enhanced AI capabilities. The new chip boosts CPU performance by 34% and TPU by 60%, enabling faster and more advanced AI features. Google introduces Gemini Live for visual overlays during video interactions and Magic Cue for surfacing contextual information from various apps.

The Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are priced similarly to their predecessors, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at $1,199 with increased base storage. Exciting features like real-time translation, camera coaching, and improved call screening enhance the overall user experience.
