Apple concluded a week of Mac announcements by unveiling the latest addition to the M-series of chips. Following the announcement of the M4 Pro and the new Mac mini, Apple is now showcasing the M4 Max, which will be featured in the MacBook Pro line.

### M4 Max Features
Like other chips in the M4 series, the M4 Max is built on a second-gen 3-nanometer architecture. It is also the second chip from Apple to support Thunderbolt 5 transfer speeds, which are more than twice as fast as Thunderbolt 4. Additionally, Apple claims that the new Neural Engine doubles the speed of the M3.
