Ukrainian hacktivist group BO Team claims to have hacked into the network of Russian drone maker Gaskar Group and disrupted its operations.
BO Team announced the breach on its Telegram channel, stating that they carried out the attack in collaboration with the Ukrainian Cyber Alliance and Ukraine’s military intelligence.
The groups seized the entire network and server infrastructure of Gaskar Group, collected valuable information about drones, and destroyed the infrastructure. During the cyberattack, they destroyed over 250 systems, wiped company data, and stole personal information of employees.
Both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers have used drones extensively since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, with Gaskar Group reportedly supplying drones to the Russian military.
Gaskar Group has not responded to requests for comment.
