MIT has raised concerns about the “integrity” of a prominent paper on the impact of artificial intelligence on research and innovation, calling for its removal from public discussion. The paper, titled “Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Discovery, and Product Innovation,” was authored by a doctoral student in the university’s economics program.
