TikTok Makes It Easier to Save Songs with YouTube Music
TikTok is on a roll, now allowing users to save the songs they hear in video clips to their favorite music streaming platform. And the latest addition to the lineup is YouTube Music!
Global Music Vibes
Originally kicking off in the U.S. and the U.K. with Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, TikTok expanded this feature to over 160 countries in February 2024. Deezer and SoundCloud have also joined the music streaming party.
How to Save Your Jams
To save a song, just tap the “Add Song” button next to the track name in the clip description and choose YouTube Music. You can set your preferred streaming service as default or switch it up in the “Music” menu in Settings.
Rock On
Once you add a song, it’s automatically added to your TikTok Songs playlist on YouTube Music. Tracy Gardner, TikTok’s global head of Music Business Development, highlighted the impact of the “Add to Music App” feature in boosting streams and track saves in the music industry. So keep jamming and saving those tunes! 🎵📱
