Adobe’s chief strategy officer, Scott Belsky, made waves this week by announcing his move to A24, the indie movie studio known for hits like “Civil War” and “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” Belsky has a history with Adobe, first joining in 2012 through the Behance acquisition. After a brief stint as a VC at Benchmark, he returned to Adobe, where he held various leadership roles.

A24, on the other hand, has been making a name for itself since its founding in 2012. From “elevated” horror films like “Hereditary” to award-winning movies like “Moonlight,” the studio has garnered critical acclaim. Now, with a reported valuation of $3.25 billion, A24 is setting its sights on bigger commercial success.

In a recent post, Belsky expressed his excitement about joining A24 as a partner. He mentioned working on special projects and supporting the studio’s talented storytellers. It looks like exciting things are on the horizon for both Belsky and A24!
