The Boring Company, founded by Elon Musk, plans to build a 10-mile tunnel loop connecting Nashville’s downtown to its airport. The project will be privately funded and could be operational by fall of 2026. Nashville would become the second city to have such a system after Las Vegas. Despite past setbacks, The Boring Company’s new approach aims to be less disruptive and cost-effective. Safety concerns and worker complaints have been raised about the company’s fast-paced operations.
