YouTube is stepping up its shopping game for Shorts with the launch of new Shopping product stickers. These stickers will make it easier for viewers to shop for products featured in the Shorts they watch.

Boosting Creator Earnings

Creators stand to benefit from this update, as Shorts with Shopping product stickers have been shown to receive over 40% more clicks on products compared to Shorts with the traditional Shopping button.

Enhanced Shopping Experience

Previously, tagged products were displayed in a banner at the bottom-left corner of Shorts. Now, creators can tag products in their Shorts to automatically generate customizable stickers. Viewers can tap on the stickers to see a full list of products and make purchases directly from the retailer’s website.

Global Rollout

Shopping product stickers will be rolled out globally, except for South Korea initially. However, YouTube plans to introduce this feature in the country soon.
