Salesforce has acquired Moonhub, a startup specializing in AI for talent vetting and recruitment. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Moonhub announced on its website that its Menlo Park-based team will be joining Salesforce, a company that was already an early investor in Moonhub. Moonhub CEO Nancy Xu expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting shared values in customer trust and belief in the role of AI in driving innovation.
Moonhub, founded in 2022 by Xu, offers tools for recruiting, evaluating, and hiring job candidates. The company’s AI technology automates candidate identification, outreach, and assists with onboarding and payroll management. With significant backing from investors like Khosla Ventures, AIX Ventures, Day One Ventures, and GV, Moonhub serves hundreds of customers, including Fortune 500 companies.
The acquisition of Moonhub is part of Salesforce’s recent spree of purchases, including Informatica and Convergence.ai. By joining Salesforce, Moonhub aims to accelerate its mission and contribute to Salesforce’s AI strategy. The move reflects a broader trend in the use of AI in hiring and HR processes, with a Gallup poll showing that 93% of Fortune 500 chief human resource officers are integrating AI tools to enhance their practices.
