Linear, a software company competing with Atlassian, has just announced a major milestone – securing $82 million in a Series C funding round led by Accel. This brings the company’s total funding to $134.2 million and values it at $1.25 billion.

Based in San Francisco, Linear focuses on products that assist developers in managing software bugs, feature requests, and product development. The company also utilizes AI for coding assistance, appealing to customers like OpenAI and Scale AI. With over 15,000 customers already on board, Linear’s profits soared by 280% last year.

Expanding Horizons

CEO Karri Saarinen expressed excitement over the new funding, which will fuel the expansion of Linear’s product range and attract larger enterprise clients. Currently boasting a team of 80 employees, the company is set on growing and thriving in the competitive software industry.
