Warren Buffett to step down as Berkshire Hathaway CEO

Legendary investor Warren Buffett announced that he will recommend Greg Abel as the new CEO of Berkshire Hathaway by the end of 2025. Despite being 94 years old, Buffett plans to continue in a different role within the company. Abel, currently the vice chairman for non-insurance operations, was previously identified as Buffett’s successor. Berkshire Hathaway, known for its investments in various sectors including technology, holds a significant position in Apple even after selling half of its stock last year.
